Netflix's original 3DCG animation "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" was exclusively premiered on April 23. Today, on September 9, it was officially announced that the animated film "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 The Possible War" with additional new video content will be released on November 12. The latest trailer was also released at the same time. Let's take a sneak peek.

As the first 3DCG work of "Ghost in the Shell", "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" will be co-directed by Kenji Kamiyama, the director of the "Ghost in the Shell SAC" series, and Shinji Aramaki, the director of "EVA: Top Secret Assault" and "Appleseed". The film tells the story of the world in 2045 where the full-scale "Perpetual War" officially begins. The former elite members of Japan's Public Security Section 9 are hired to perform missions, but they encounter challenges from the suddenly emerging post-humans with highly intelligent and physical advantages.

The new animated film will be based on the original work "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045: The Possible War" and will be refined and selected, and a large number of new images will be added, in an effort to restore and sublimate the original work.
