■Explanation

This re-edited film reconstructs the story from episodes 1 to 14 of the TV series and adds new scenes. While following the story of the TV version, the drawings and direction have been boldly revised to be more realistic. It was made as a "film for adults" that crystallizes into a drama more and more. Combined with the Gundam model boom, it was an opportunity to fuel Gundam fever among young people, and three Gundam theatrical films were made.
