Henry Cavill confirmed injured but filming of The Witcher Season 2 continues

Yesterday, we reported that Henry Cavill had suspended filming of The Witcher Season 2 due to a leg injury. Today (December 14), foreign media Deadline has confirmed that Henry Cavill was indeed injured during the filming of Season 2, but it seems that Henry Cavill’s injury is not serious and the filming of The Witcher Season 2 will continue.

Of course, Cavill will be forced to take a short break, but despite Superman's absence, the filming of other scenes will proceed without the actor. According to a source familiar with the matter, Cavill was injured during combat training, seemingly in the leg, but the source said it was unclear whether something hit the leg or if it was some kind of muscle strain. Cavill cannot resume filming immediately.

The second season of The Witcher is currently scheduled to be released in 2021, and plans for the third season will be announced at a later date.
