Amazon TV series "My Lady Jane" sparks controversy: King of England becomes a black homosexual

Amazon recently launched a new "alternative history" TV series "My Lady Jane", which caused a lot of controversy online because the King of England became a black homosexual.

My Lady Jane is based on a real historical character: Jane Grey, a Tudor queen who reigned for only nine days in official history. It tells a story about love, politics, family and society in a completely fictional alternative world. In this world, there are Ethians who can transform into animals, and humans regard them as aliens and exclude them from society.

Although My Lady Jane is just a "fictional history" work, it has angered many viewers and sparked debate, because the British King Edward in the film is a black homosexual. Previously, Anne Boleyn was criticized for changing the British queen to a black character. This time, Amazon's operation has once again made DEI (diversity, equality and inclusion) appear in front of the audience.

Some people in the comment section said: "Honestly, I don't know if this is satire or not," "I turned it off as soon as I saw this. I can't tolerate the distortion of history," "Is anyone watching?", "Obviously, this is ridiculous," and "It's getting more and more pathetic!"
