Wanda Cinemas announces first batch of 33 films to be released, including A Chinese Odyssey: Part One, Wolf Warrior 2

Wanda Group's official Weibo account announced that Wanda Cinemas will resume operations in an orderly manner starting from July 20. So far, 95 Wanda Cinemas have resumed operations. Wanda also officially announced the first batch of 33 films to be released, including many classic blockbusters such as "A Chinese Odyssey", "The Message", "The Mermaid", "Wolf Warriors 2" and "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World".

In addition to classic old films, the first batch of new films have also been scheduled. Among them, "The First Separation" was released on July 20, and "Dumbo" starring Robert Downey Jr. will be released on July 24. "Bloodshot" (starring Vin Diesel) and "Wild Oats" (starring Ma Sichun/Zhong Chuxi/Huang Jingyu) and other new films will be released in July and August.

On July 16, the National Film Administration issued a notice on orderly promoting the reopening of cinemas under the normal conditions of epidemic prevention and control. Low-risk areas can resume operations in an orderly manner on July 20, provided that all prevention and control measures are effectively implemented in cinemas. Medium- and high-risk areas will not be open for business for the time being. Once a low-risk area is adjusted to a medium- or high-risk area, the epidemic prevention and control regulations must be strictly implemented, and prevention and control measures must be strictly implemented. Cinemas must suspend operations in a timely manner as required.
