Monsters in the Monster Hunter movie are bigger than dinosaurs in Jurassic World

Recently, Paul Anderson, director of the movie "Monster Hunter", said in an interview with Empire magazine that the monsters appearing in the movie "Monster Hunter" are 15-18 meters tall and more detailed than the dinosaurs in "Jurassic World".

Director Paul Anderson said: "The "Monster Hunter" movie will not be a small fight. All the monsters in the movie are 50-60 feet (15-18 meters) high. They are amazing. The monsters we built are more detailed than the dinosaurs in "Jurassic World". Because we shot on location in South Africa and Namibia, the real wind, sand and sunshine gave the special effects artists a good reference, allowing the monsters to be better integrated into these environments. In the whole picture, only the monsters are CG."

Anderson noted that the combination of tactile environments and stylized CGI monsters led the crew to describe the project as "Lawrence of Arabia... but with monsters." However, from the material exposed so far, the exact effects of the monsters in the film remain a mystery.

The "Monster Hunter" movie, starring Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Ron Perlman and others, will be released in North America on April 23, 2021.
