Disney announces global withdrawal of live-action film "Mulan" due to the epidemic

According to recent media reports, due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, Disney has confirmed that the live-action movie "Mulan" starring Liu Yifei will be postponed in North America and other places, and the new release date is to be determined.

Director Niki Caro said: "Given the changing situation today, unfortunately we have to postpone the release of "Mulan" around the world. Our hearts are with those affected by the new crown around the world, and we hope that Mulan's fighting spirit will continue to inspire those who are doing their best to keep us safe. ... I am eager to wait until that day, when we can experience the story of a warrior girl becoming a legend together."

Previously, a Disney spokesperson revealed that "Mulan" would never be rescheduled, but now it has to be postponed. The film is arranging a new release date worldwide and plans to be re-released this year (Japan has previously postponed it to May 22).
