Marvel's Shang-Chi to start filming on November 1 in Australia and Los Angeles

According to the recent information released by Production List, Marvel's new Asian superhero film "Shang-Chi" will officially start shooting on November 1 this year, with filming taking place in Australia and Los Angeles, USA.

Shang-Chi is a superhero from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Marvel Special Edition No. 15 and was created by Steve Englehart and Jim Stalin. Shang-Chi was born in Henan, China. He lived in seclusion since childhood and was trained by his father and master to learn martial arts. He gradually became a kung fu master. In his understanding of martial arts, he began to doubt his father. When he learned that his respected father was actually an evil demon, he got rid of his father's control and embarked on the road of heroism.

"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" will be released in North America on February 12, 2021, the first day of the Lunar New Year. Canadian-Chinese Simu Liu will play the protagonist "Shang-Chi", Tony Leung will play "Mandarin", and "Crazy Rich Asians" heroine Awkwafina will join.
