A live-action movie about the Japanese black samurai Yasuke is in preparation and he’s going to wreak havoc!

The Japanese black samurai Yasuke appeared in Netflix's animated adaptation "Yasuke" in 2021. Now, according to foreign media Variety, a live-action movie of Yasuke is also in preparation.

It is reported that Warner Bros. is preparing a live-action movie of "Samurai Yasuke", tentatively named "Black Samurai", which will be written and directed by Blitz Bazawule, the director of the new version of "The Color Purple".
