DC superhero movie "The Flash" postponed again and may be released in 2021

According to the latest reports from foreign media, the DC superhero independent film "The Flash", which was previously announced to officially start filming in February next year, has recently been revealed to postpone the start time again. The current plan is to start production at the end of 2019 and aim to be released in 2021. At the same time, the tone of the film is no longer dark.

Although the film has not yet officially passed the green light review and there is no confirmed shooting schedule, the news in August this year is that the crew will start shooting on February 5 next year. John Francis Daly and Jonathan M. Goldstein, the directors of "Game Night", will direct.

It is reported that one of the reasons for the delay is that Ezra Miller, who plays the Flash, is going to shoot the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" series. J.K. Rowling insisted that there should be 5 films in this series, and the filming of the third film will start in July next year, which makes it difficult for Flash to spare time.

The Flash is currently scheduled to start filming at the end of 2019 and is expected to be released in 2021.
