Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Shadow Shadow's new character design revealed

The official Twitter account of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie recently released the first design stills of Shadow the Hedgehog in the latest film in the series, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This still mainly focuses on the character's shoes. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is scheduled to be released in late 2024.

The full look of the character has not been revealed yet, but the shoes look more detailed than Sonic's, and the design is cooler and futuristic. It is also unknown who will voice the character. The character has already been announced in advance in "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" and will appear in the sequel, playing the role of a villain in the film.

Shadow first appeared in the game in 2001's "Sonic the Hedgehog Adventure 2". He was the "ultimate life form" created by Dr. Eggman's grandfather and was often mistaken for Sonic. I don't know how his background story will be adapted in the movie.

The Twitter trailer also stated that Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which was put on hold during the Screen Actors Guild strike, has now resumed production. Sonic will be voiced by Ben Schwartz, Tails will be played by Collen O'Shaughnessy, and Cyberpunk 2077: Shadows of the Past star Idris Elba will also return to voice Knuckles. Before the film sequel, a Paramount Plus series featuring Knuckles will be released in early 2024.
