Recently, China Film Digital Film Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd. issued a notice on the third extension of the movie key of "The Wandering Earth 2", extending the film distribution and screening time from 00:00 on April 16, 2023 to 23:59 on May 15.

It is reported that The Wandering Earth 2 had its encryption key extended twice, on February 15 and March 17. According to Maoyan Professional Edition data, its cumulative box office has reached 4.027 billion yuan. Previously, the movie Red River, which was also released during the Spring Festival, also announced that its release would be extended to May 15, and the box office of the film reached 4.544 billion yuan.
