The 25th anniversary commemorative exhibition of "Rurouni Kenshin" will be held on April 24.

The popular manga "Rurouni Kenshin" based on the original work of Nobuhiro Watsuki will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. A commemorative exhibition is scheduled to be held in Tokyo from April 24th to June 7th. Recently, the official has released some of the precious original paintings scheduled to be exhibited. Let's take a sneak peek.

·"Rurouni Kenshin" is a manga serialized in the Japanese Shonen Jump Weekly from 1994 to 1999. The author is Nobuhiro Watsuki. The story takes place in Tokyo in the early years of the Meiji Restoration. The protagonist, Kenshin Himura, was a reformist executioner at the end of the shogunate, known as "Battosai", and killed countless people. In the new era, he wanders around with a reverse-edged sword, determined not to kill anymore. In the Kamiya Dojo in Tokyo, Kenshin met Kaoru and a group of friends. Has he found the direction of the sword and the belonging of the heart?

This 25th anniversary exhibition is also the first special exhibition for the series. There will be more original manuscripts, secret materials, illustrations and commemorative peripherals about "Rurouni Kenshin" released, so stay tuned.
