The new American TV series "Green Lantern" changes its creative direction and features a black superhero as the protagonist

The new DC superhero drama "Green Lantern", which has been developed by HBO Max for a long time, has not made much progress. However, according to a recent report by "The Hollywood Reporter", the official has changed the direction of creation and will change from the original group drama to a single-protagonist drama.

Previously, the direction of the "Green Lantern" series was to focus on many Green Lanterns, with Guy Gardner and Alan Scott as the protagonists, and the official actors have also been selected: Finn Wittrock and Jeremy Irvine. However, the creative direction of the show has now changed to focus only on DC's first black superhero John Stewart, who is one of the longest-serving Green Lanterns.

Finn Wittrock and Jeremy Irvine are no longer involved as a result, and before that, the show's information clearly mentioned that well-known green lanterns such as John Stewart, Hal Jordan, and Kyle Rayner would not appear.

Due to creative changes, Seth Grahame-Smith, the original operator of "Green Lantern", announced his withdrawal, and Greg Berlanti, the helmsman of CW's DC drama universe, remained as the producer of the show.
