Director admits that the design of Predator: Prey was inspired by God of War 4

The new film "Predator: Prey" has received great reviews. In an interview, the film's director Dan Trachtenberg said that the equipment design of the protagonist and the villain was directly influenced by Sony Santa Monica Studio's "God of War 4", and he himself is very much looking forward to the release of "God of War 5: Ragnarok".

In an interview, Dan Trachtenberg stated that the Predator's shield and the Naaru's axe in the film were directly inspired by the designs in 2018's God of War 4.

Dan Trachtenberg said: "The answer is a lot. The Predator's shield in the movie (inspired by Kratos' shield) and Naaru's axe (inspired by Kratos' axe) are both examples of this, because she throws it out and pulls it back, which is completely influenced by God of War 4."

"Predator: Prey" set a record for the highest number of viewers for a Hulu streaming movie/TV series premiere, and also broke records for viewing time in the first three days on Star+ and Disney+, platforms outside North America.
