Chen Jialin, director of "Empress Wu Zetian" and other works, died at the age of 79

Today (July 9), Sina Film reported that director Chen Jialin passed away in Beijing on July 7 at the age of 79 due to long-term illness.

Chen Jialin is the former chairman of the Television Drama Directors Committee of the China Radio and Television Association and a national first-class director of the Changchun Film Studio. He is one of the first professional directors in China to engage in television drama creation. His representative works include "Kangxi Dynasty", "Empress Wu Zetian", "Tang Minghuang", "Wang Zhaojun", etc.
