He boldly tried various reproduction techniques such as relief printing, rubber or wood rubbing, gold leaf technology, photo projection, etc.

In addition to being a leader of pop art, Warhol was also a film producer, writer, rock composer, publisher, and a star artist in New York's social and art circles. In 2014, his portrait of Mao Zedong was auctioned in the UK for a high price of 7.6 million pounds (about 76.63 million yuan).
