"JOJO" comics author: "The Godfather" trilogy is the best in film history

The classic "Godfather" trilogy in film history will hold a 50th anniversary screening event in Japan, and the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" cartoonist Hirohiko Araki has been invited to comment.

Araki said, "The Godfather must be the best movie in film history. I have watched it so many times. As I get older, I understand the reality depicted in it better every time I watch it again. During the nearly three hours of watching the movie, I even wanted to live in the same time as the members of this gangster family. Everything is in good taste, the music, the shoes, the shape of the window frames in the room, the small glasses for drinking, and even the backyard where I play with my grandchildren are all good."

When talking about his favorite scene in the Godfather trilogy, Araki revealed that it was the scene in the first film where the old godfather and Sollozzo were talking about something. The eldest son Sonny interrupted and almost exposed his thoughts. The old godfather Vito used a glass of wine to ease the atmosphere. "The parent-child relationship, the eldest son's character, the attacks and fate he will suffer in the future are all concentrated in it."
