Diablo III Season 25 details: December 10 launch

Season 25 begins on December 10 (UTC)! Read on to learn more about Soul Shards and the new balance changes coming in Patch 2.7.2!

New Season Theme

Although the Dark Soul Stone has been shattered, the lingering soul fragments of the hell demons who were once trapped in the soul stone are still scattered in the sanctuary. These soul fragments have great power that once belonged to the demons and demons. If the cunning Nephalem finds these soul stones and uses the power contained in them, they must remember to be careful. Power is tempting, and the road to the blazing hell is paved with good intentions...

As the 25th anniversary of the Diablo series approaches, we hope that players will delve into the dark side of the Nephalem's past. In Season 25, players can embrace evil by infusing themselves with the essence of the Lords of Hell. Players will embark on a seasonal journey to discover and upgrade soul fragments from seven Lords of Hell, which are filled with demonic power. Players can transform into the Lords and the Spokespersons of the Lords, bringing new pain and suffering to the demons of Sanctuary. We can't wait to see players get the soul fragments and unlock their true power.

Seasonal Cosmetic Rewards

Since Season 17, we've started reintroducing old rewards, giving players who missed them during the first event a chance to earn them. With Season 25, it's the turn of rewards from Season 13 to return to the game. In addition to the Conqueror's set's exclusive helmet and shoulder pad slots, Imperius-themed portraits will also be available. Players who love collecting pets will also be happy to see the return of "Brian's Pet Bear"! When you travel together, you may ask him why he is covered in blood, or you may try to remove the sharp objects he carries with him. We strongly recommend not to do this.

But we also know that if you've already participated in previous seasons, you might want to pursue some new goals and rewards. We're continuing the tradition of offering new "End of Journey" rewards since Season 17, offering two new cosmetic rewards for players who complete the entire Season Journey. Survive the Tristram Avatar and complete the Season 25 Guardian's Journey to earn the Pain of Tristram Avatar and Dark Lord Pet .

Season Journey Rewards

If you've been playing the game diligently over the past few years and have reached the Conqueror tier in the Season Journey each time, you'll have accumulated some extra stash slots. Players who haven't yet earned five stash slots through the Season Journey can still unlock an extra slot by completing the following tasks at the Conqueror tier:

Complete a Torment XIII Rift in under 5 minutes

Complete the 60th level of the single-player Great Rift

Kill Greevil on Torment XIII difficulty

Kill Cyndia within 15 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty

Reforge a legendary or set item

Enhance an Ancient item with a Legendary Gem of at least level 50

Upgrade three legendary gems to level 55

Complete two conquests

Season Conquest

Speaking of Conquests, we're rotating those in, too! Did you like speedrunning? Sprinter and Sprinter are returning. Did you like testing your mettle in Greater Rifts? Divine Power and Lionheart are returning, too. If you're looking to use Cursed Chests to blast your kill count, Curse Your Life! and Stars Align are perfect for that. Players who enjoy proving how far they can get without set items can also have fun playing Just a Beat and Superhuman . Finally, if you love showing off your mastery of set dungeons, Cosmic Insight and Set Master can help you out.

Haedrig's Gift

Finally, as always, after completing certain chapters of the Season Journey, you can obtain a new class set from Haedrig's Gift. We have listed the available sets below. Here is an explanation of the specific rules for players who are just joining the Season:

Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three Gifts of Haedrig. Each Gift contains several pieces from one of your Class Sets. You can only unlock one Class Set this way per Season, regardless of whether you're playing in Hardcore or Non-Hardcore mode, so choose wisely!

When you open each of Haedrig's gifts, the set of items you receive depends on the class of the character you play. To collect a complete class set, you need to open all three gifts with the same character.

Here are the gifts from Haedrig in Season 25:
