First trailer for new Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett released

Disney and Lucasfilm have officially released the first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett, the latest live-action Star Wars series set to premiere this December.

The first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett has been released. Ever since Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, there have been attempts to create a story around the fan-favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett. Initially, the plan was to have Boba be the star of a standalone feature film, but now that has turned into a series. Based on the supporting role Boba Fett provided in the second season of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett will allow fans to see the story of Boba's fight for Jabba the Hutt's old territory on the planet Tatooine.

The Book of Boba Fett will premiere in December, and despite the air date coming up soon, Lucasfilm has remained typically mum on story details. In late September, the studio kicked off its marketing campaign with the first poster for The Book of Boba Fett, preparing for a massive teaser in the final months of the year. Now, audiences are finally getting to see some footage.
