Paul Anderson is a familiar face of video game adaptation movies. He has directed one "Mortal Kombat" movie and four "Resident Evil" movies. Now he is bringing "Monster Hunter" to the big screen. Anderson said in an interview with Total Film: "I have been preparing for the "Monster Hunter" movie for 11 years."

The director is confident that his monster movie will amaze audiences and players who walk into the cinema, saying that the monster details in his movie are more than anything in "Jurassic World." And Anderson sees the long-term potential of his latest game-adapted movie. He smiled and said: "There are hundreds of monsters in the game, and I can only use 5 or 6 in a movie. So this is a huge and interesting world, and I think we have only touched the tip of the iceberg."

The film's star, Millar, added that Anderson is already writing other things based on the Monster Hunter movie universe. "We definitely want to make another one, and hopefully everyone will love this movie, because I know Paul really wants to make a sequel. I mean, he's already writing something..."

The Monster Hunter movie will be released in the UK and Taiwan on December 4, and in the US on December 30.
