HBO to launch new Batman movie spin-off focusing on Gotham Police Department

According to the latest news released by hollywoodreporter, the streaming platform HBO Max will cooperate with Matt Reeves, the director of the new "Batman" movie in 2021, to launch a spin-off series of the "Batman" movie, focusing on the Gotham Police Department that persists in fighting urban corruption and crime under the shadow of Batman.

At present, the series has not been named, but some people call it "Gotham Central", and the series will be in the same universe as Robert Pattinson's version of "Batman". HBO Max said that the "Batman" series will "be based on the world created by Matt Reeves for the Batman movie, based on the movie's analysis of Gotham's corruption, and ultimately launch a new Batman world."

It is not yet clear whether Robert Pattinson will appear in the series.
