"Digimon" TV animation restarts the new adventure of elementary school student Yagami Taichi

According to the latest news from Japanese magazine Express, "Digimon" will launch a new animation TV. The protagonists of this animation are fifth-grade elementary school students Taichi Yagami and Agumon. It can be seen as a reboot of the "Digimon" animation.

According to breaking news, the new animation of "Digimon" will be broadcast in April 2020, telling the new adventures of the protagonists of the first Digimon. Judging from the visual effects released for the new animation, the character settings are consistent with the first TV animation.

"Digimon" was originally a liquid crystal toy battle-type electronic pet released by Bandai Co., Ltd. in Japan in 1997. In 1999, the original animation "Digimon" produced by Toei Animation based on this concept began to be broadcast, and has since expanded into a huge cross-media production product series. Currently, the series has completed 7 TV animations, 8 theatrical versions as TV animation extras, 2 3D mini-theaters, and a TV special "Digimon X Evolution". The 15th anniversary commemorative work of the first generation of animation "Digimon Adventure tri." (OVA, theatrical release, 6 chapters in total) has been completed.
