The fourth volume of the spin-off manga "Cells at Work! Illegal" will be released in September

The third volume of the "Cells at Work!" spin-off manga "Cells at Work! Illegal" drawn by Kake Hashimoto announced that the manga will be completed in the fourth volume, which will be released in September.

Like Akane Shimizu's original work "Cells at Work!", the spin-off anthropomorphizes the cells in the human body, showing their daily lives as they try to protect their body's abilities. In "Cells at Work!", the owners of the bodies the cells are in often take illegal drugs and experience physical violence.

"Cells at Work! Illegal" was first serialized on Kodansha's YanMaga website in January 2022. There are many derivative works of the original work. Last month, two works, "Cells at Work! Cat" and "Cells at Work! Medicine", began serialization in Kodansha's "Monthly Shonen Sirius".
