New trailer for the animated film "Kingdom of Gold and Water" Minami Hamabe confirmed as the lead actress

Adapted from the popular manga by Nao Iwamoto, the animated film "King of Gold and Water" will be released in spring 2023. Today, on July 13, the official announced the latest trailer and also confirmed the male and female protagonists, who will be played by Kento Kaku and Minami Hamabe respectively. Stay tuned.

The story of "Kingdom of Gold and Kingdom of Water" tells that a long time ago, there were two countries with very bad neighborly relations. They quarreled over trivial matters and finally started a war over the issue of cleaning up dog poop. The gods intervened hastily and said to the kings of the two countries: marry the most beautiful girl in country A to country B, and let the smartest young man in country B be the son-in-law of country A. As a result, the princess of country A married a dog as her son-in-law, and the young man of country B married a cat.

•The animated film "Kingdom of Gold and Kingdom of Water" will be produced by MADHOUSE, directed by Kotono Watanabe and written by Fumi Tsubota.
