The broadcast date of the Star Wars spin-off "Obi-Wan" has been leaked: it will be launched in May

According to foreign media reports, Lucasfilm plans to release "Obi-Wan Kenobi" on Disney+ in May. The time of this drama is set ten years after "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith". At that time, the Jedi Order had been destroyed, and Obi-Wan Kenobi changed his name to "Ben Kenobi" and quietly protected Anakin's son, Luke Skywalker, on the planet Tatooine.

Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan in the prequel trilogy, and Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader), have both confirmed their return and will continue to play their original roles. Kang Sung-ho, who played Han in the "Fast & Furious" series, and Kumail Nanjiani, who has confirmed his participation in "Eternals," will also appear in the show. Joel Edgerton, who played Anakin's half-brother in the prequel trilogy, and Bonnie Peace, who played his wife, have also confirmed their return.

It is reported that Deborah Chow, the director of "The Mandalorian", will direct the film. The official launch time is to be determined. Interested viewers are welcome to look forward to it.
