The American TV series "The Continental", the prequel to "John Wick", released an official trailer

The first upcoming spin-off series "The Continental", the first in the "John Wick" universe of the action movie series starring Keanu Reeves, released its first official trailer today.

Episode preview:

The story of the spin-off series "The Continental" is set before the events of the first movie. It will be told from the perspective of Winston Scott, a young Continental Hotel manager, who was involved in a violent dispute in New York City in the 1970s. In the new trailer, it is revealed that the reason he was involved in the dispute was that his brother stole something very important from the then manager of the Continental Hotel. Such a mysterious item involves many forces and various characters in the underground killer world.

Colin Woodell will play Winston in the series. Winston is played by Ian McShane in the film. Ayomide Adegun will play the young lobby manager Charon.

“The Continental” will premiere on streaming platform Peacock in the U.S. on September 22, and internationally on Amazon’s streaming platform Prime Video in September.
