Tom Holland was invited to star in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

According to Spider-Man: No Homecoming star Tom Holland, he has been invited to star in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which will be released next year. He revealed this in an interview to promote the upcoming Spider-Man: No Homecoming. Holland and Zendaya both expressed interest in starring in the sequel.

In an interview with Syfy Wire, Holland and Zendaya both said that they loved the first Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie. Holland further revealed that they had discussed having him in the movie. He said that producer Amy Pascal had asked him if he would be willing to voice the sequel, but he hasn't heard anything about it since then.

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Part 1)" will be released in North America in October next year. The film is the sequel to the Oscar-winning best animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse".
